Talk on Applications of Polygenic Scores in Family Psychology
Does the apple fall far from the tree and if it does, is it because of genes or environment?
On February 11th, we welcome you to two talks on applications of polygenic scores in family psychology. Marie Navarro (Uni of Groningen) and Tina Kretschmer will present studies on similarity across generations in mental health and behaviour and ask whether traditional environmental explanations that focus on parenting hold true when genetic confounding and direct genetic transmission are accounted for.
Time & place: February 11th, 15:45-17:00, Nägelsbachstrasse 49c, room 02.219
