- 1995–2004 research associate in the LBS Family Study “Transition to Parenthood” in Munich (PhD awarded in 2002)
- From 2004 to 2007, research associate at the Faculty of Education at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy
- Since 2007, affiliated with the Chair of Developmental Psychology and Educational Psychology at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg (LfbA)
Research Interests
- Classroom management (including certified trainer with Münchner Lehrertraining e.V.)
- Communication skills training for student teachers
- Educational and psychological myths and how to deal with belief-incongruent scientific information
