Yentl Koopmans obtained her PhD at KU Leuven in 2025. Her doctoral research focused on developing a comprehensive understanding of early adolescent loneliness by examining predictors at multiple levels of analysis, including epigenetics and parenting, as well as their interactions. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Educational and Developmental Psychology at FAU, where she focuses on genetically informed research on parenting.
