  • Studied Psychology in Trier
  • 1995–2004 research associate in the LBS Family Study “Transition to Parenthood” in Munich (PhD awarded in 2002)
  • From 2004 to 2007, research associate at the Faculty of Education at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy
  • Since 2007, affiliated with the Chair of Developmental Psychology and Educational Psychology at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg (LfbA)

 

Research Interests

  • Classroom management (including certified trainer with Münchner Lehrertraining e.V.)

  • Communication skills training for student teachers

  • Educational and psychological myths and how to deal with belief-incongruent scientific information
