Dr. Sandra Gabler

Kurzlebenslauf

Seit Januar 2009 ist Sandra Gabler wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl für Entwicklungspsychologie und Pädagogische Psychologie an der FAU. 2013 promovierte sie zur Bindungsentwicklung und psychosozialen Anpassung von Pflegekindern (DFG-Projekt; Promotionsstipendium der Studienstiftung). Auch als Postdoc beschäftigte sie sich mit dem Aufwachsen in Risikokontexten und leitete Projekte zu Jugendlichen in Fremdunterbringung und psychisch belasteten Eltern (DGSF-Forschungsförderungen 2017 und 2019). Ein zweiter wichtiger Fokus ihrer wissenschaftlichen Arbeit ist die Erweiterung der Perspektive vom Individuum zum Familiensystem, z.B. durch den Einbezug von Vätern sowie die Betrachtung von sozialen Unterstützungssystemen oder dyadischem Coping in Stresssituationen. Parallel zur universitären Arbeit ist Sandra Gabler therapeutisch tätig. Sie ist systemische Therapeutin / Familientherapeutin (DGSF) und approbierte Psychologische Psychotherapeutin (VT).
